What is a Garden Coach?
A garden coach is someone who works alongside you, helping you to nurture and take care of your garden. I will show you how and when to prune, explain what to do to improve your soil, show you how to sow seeds, plant a tree or establish a vegetable garden.
Who is it for?
Garden coaching is for anyone with a garden. Perhaps you would like to join the 'grow your own' revolution, but don't know where to start? Or you'd really like to understand how and when to prune your roses? Or you've just moved house and would like to identify those new plants, and find out how to care for them.
My role is to teach you a few skills, such as pruning or planting, and help you to set realistic goals for yourself and your garden. I won't be doing the gardening for you, but I will help you, demonstrate techniques, show you which tools to use and generally act as your garden 'support person'.
Working with a garden coach means that all the activities you might read about in the gardening press or see on television are specifically tailored to you and your garden.
A garden coaching session might be a 'one off', or (more usually) we plan a series of visits over the year, so that I can show you how to take care of the seasonal tasks.
Garden coaching gift vouchers are available - so if you have a friend or member of the family who needs a helping hand 'getting started' with gardening, why not buy them a session with the coach? Please contact us for more information or to buy the gift voucher.
What does it cost?
A one-off visit costs £65 for a visit lasting up to 90 minutes. If you would like regular visits, annual contracts start from £245 (4 visits), the cost depending on how much coaching time you would like - it's completely flexible. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
